The essence of the magic of sunrise and sunset can be deduced in accepting hope and despair, the good time and the bad time, the sunny days and rainy days as part of the cycle of life.

It is a universal truth that sunrise will end in sunset and sunset will lead to sunrise. It may take a little longer in real life of an individual but this phenomenon does hold good. Thus, the message is loud and clear that one should not lose heart and become despondent at sunset but keep walking the mile that is work hard with truth and sincerity; opportunity shall knock once again on the door to welcome the shining rays of sunrise. The wheel is set but its inertia is to be broken by pushing it with quality work regularly and continuously. The wheel will spin in direct proportion of the planned, calculated dedication and commitment to the cause and the result. King Bruce and the spider is the classic story to validate this principal. One needs to keep on giving his best, have confidence and believe in himself/herself. During the sunset one needs to forget the negative and put ones trust in the positive. When your senses are engaged in goodness, then you will create light and fragrance. Patience, tolerance and sanity are some of the traits one should always hold tight during sunset. As it is said, ‘until the juice ferments a while in the cask, it is not wine’.
Confidence in ourselves is a very important aspect of life during uncertainties and rough weather. If you have no confidence in yourself you are twice defeated in the race of life. The oyster keeps its mouth open till eternity to receive one drop of rainwater to convert it in to a beautiful shining pearl. Similarly, failure is treated as a learning experience. As we nourish our body so we should keep nourishing our mind. During sunset redouble your effort to reach the sunrise zone. The condition of sunrise is not all roses; one has to ensure consistency in quality of effort, faith and belief in the cause. To sustain it for longer period make it broad based and inclusive of the team so that when sunset comes which is certain, you are not left alone to fend for yourself. Even when one is down in the dumps the state looks beautiful when you have loved ones to support you. Life with no ups and downs is devoid of adventure and challenge. Life in a state of smooth sailing has no meaning; the failures, the odds and the sunset give great opportunity to create meaning.
We must be hurt in order to grow
We must fail in order to know
We must lose in order to gain.
Some lessons in life are best learned through pain.
If one does not know to which port he is sailing no wind is favourable.
Shallow men believe in luck
Strong men believe in cause and effect.
All things in life are temporary
If they are going well, enjoy them.
They will not last forever.
If they are going wrong do not worry they can’t last long either.
